Audit review

The paper correctly states the renormalized update rules and the target Schrödinger solution with H = σx, and it claims the normalized templates converge to that solution as K→∞. However, it does not explicitly derive the linear recursion |T_{k+1}⟩ = (K I − iH)|T_k⟩, nor does it clearly define the normalization (a likely misprint appears in the limit expression). By contrast, the model’s solution rigorously establishes the operator recursion, the normalization U_k = K^{-k}T_k, evaluates powers via the projectors of H, and takes the limit cleanly. Hence the intended result is valid, but the paper’s proof sketch is incomplete while the model’s solution is correct and complete.

\textbf{Recommendation:} minor revisions

\textbf{Journal Tier:} note/short/other

\textbf{Justification:}

A crisp and potentially instructive example showing how a renormalized multiway system reproduces a two-level Schrödinger evolution. The technical content is sound for this toy case, but the manuscript is too terse at the key step linking templates to the operator product and contains an ambiguous normalization in the limit formula. These are easily corrected; with minor clarifications, the note would be suitable for publication as a short contribution.
